General Info

Seibu Holdings Inc. engages in the urban and regional transportation, hotel and leisure, real estate, construction, and other businesses. It operates through Urban Transportation and Regional, Hotel and Leisure, Real Estate, Construction, Hawaii Business, and Other Business segments. The company offers passenger transportation through trains, buses, and taxis along its rail lines in the Tokyo-Saitama area; operates hotels, golf courses, ski resorts, and leisure facilities; and develops hotel space along its railway lines and in city centers. It also develops and operates stores in train stations, outlet malls, and other commercial facilities; subdivides housing, condominiums, and tracts for summer homes; leases offices and housings; and operates parking lots for cars and bicycles, cemeteries, and other facilities. In addition, the company engages in insurance agency business. Further, it is involved in the construction activity in various areas, such as railway lines, social infrastructure, hotel remodeling, private sector construction, and housing. Additionally, the company produces, processes, and sells gravel, sand, and other raw materials used in civil engineering and construction projects; designs and executes landscaping projects; and maintains and operates state-run parks. It also operates express ways and cruise ships; and maintains a professional baseball team. The company primarily operates in Japan, the United States, China, Taiwan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Australia. Seibu Holdings Inc. was founded in 2006 and is headquartered in Tokorozawa, Japan.
